Ready to Serve
Shady Grove Baptist Church is ready to serve people in the way that Christ served. Our ministries are designed to encourage, teach, and build up believers to become stewards and share the Gospel in our communities and beyond. Check out our ministries to see how you can get involved.
Women’s & Men’s Ministry
The Women and Men’s Ministry encourages spiritual growth, a place to use gifts to serve the Lord and meaningful relationships with those of the faith. Check the events calendar for monthly meetings and activities offered by these ministries.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at Shady Grove partners with parents to do the word according to Proverbs 22:6 to “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. The core values of youth ministry are discipleship, worship, fellowship, leadership, evangelism, and community service.
Missionary & Homeless Ministry
Organize and implement mission’s ministry and projects designed to respond to social and restorative justice issues as well as homelessness that impact the church and community. This ministry participates in the Baptist General Convention mission’s work in various areas and District 8 along with the Baptist General Convention’s Week of prayer (the second week of October).

Diaconate Ministry - Deacons, Deaconess
The Diaconate ministries fosters communication between the Pastor, congregation and community and ministers to a variety of needs in the congregation and community. The Diaconate ministry visits and serves communion to those who are sick and shut-in. The Diaconate ministry is appointed by the Pastor.
Usher’s Ministry
A cheerful, resourceful and knowledgeable ministry designed to love and encourage those in attendance. Ushers help to direct and bring order. Hospitality Food Ministry
Develop menus and serve at various events in the church. Oversees kitchen operation, meal scheduling, and event food budget. Communicate approved food service policies and procedures to the church.
Music Ministry
Rehearses weekly to lead the congregation in worship and songs unto the Lord. Choir members are taught, coached and mentored not only in the word according to true worship, musical gifts, but also spiritual growth. Media Ministry
Develop and produce video and audio resources for church ministries. Coordinate taping of services with Pastor and other

Trustees
Trustees maintain the facilities and church property along with the collection and disbursement of funds in church. Trustees are appointed by the Pastor.
